The contract furniture industry has played a vital role in metal fabrication techniques developed at Cook Technologies. Since the early 1950's, Cook has assisted designers, architects and furniture manufacturers in the design, fabrication and testing of furniture components to BIFMA standards. Cook specializes in seating and hardware components such as chair frames, 5-prong bases, seat lift controls and adjustable arm rests.

The component parts of the urethane adjustable arm rest (below) demonstrate our turnkey capabilities. To design and build complete assemblies required a blending of all our talents from materials research to robotic welding, finishing and assembly. The extensive use of CAD/CAM technology enabled us to accomplish the task on time and within budget.
